The Battle of Callisto was an important conflict between the Jovian Astrolaw Commission and the resurgent Rebellion forces, which took place in 2205.
A rebel fleet, led by Colonel Michael Kane, launched a direct assault on J.A.C. Headquarters, while three of their operatives - Gail Pilgrim, Sabina White and Emet, were teleported into the base to sabotage various defensive systems. Meanwhile, a secondary assault on Prison Station 13 aimed to liberate some valuable prisoners of war.
Since they were heavily outgunned, the rebel forces scattered their ships so that their enemy could not focus their fire in a single place. The attack ended in victory for the rebellion and resulted in the destruction of the J.A.C. Headquarters, sparking off the Second Galactic War.
These events were also adapted into a movie starring Rex Steele.
