The Sun Systems is a term for the twin star systems of Denebola and Zavijava, as well as for a secretive political organisation which largely governs those two systems and is a major power within the Galactic Union.
Robotics is the major industry in these systems. In fact, there are settlements in the Zavijava system which are said to contain almost as many droids as humans.
Residents of this system are sometimes referred to as the "Sunese" and are predominantly Asian in origin. They have an uneasy relationship with the inner worlds and mainly look out for their own interests. It is widely believed that these two systems ultimately desire independence from the union. Of all the most powerful groups in the union, they have the most unusual and unpredictable voting record.
