Daniel Godfrey served as head science and medical officer on Innes Station.
After Otto Nielson murdered the station's administrator Linda Ihejirika, Godfrey was imprisoned by his colleagues for refusing to go along with the cover-up. He was subsequently rescued by the crew of the Starship Quicksilver.
He remained in contact with them after these events, even playing correspondence chess with Sabina White.
In 2205, he was presumably assassinated by the Jovian Astrolaw Commission as part of their efforts to frame Gail Pilgrim and Sabina White for murder. His death was made to look like an overdose of Euphoria.
